2002- Went to college thinking about majoring in pre-med, realized education as a passion and switched, mid-term.

2006- Graduated and wanted to teach high school Biology, however I could only get interviews for middle school science. I got a job 1 month after graduating, teaching 7th grade science.

2008- I began writing middle school curriculum for my district on a team of 4, along with loving my job as a middle school science teacher.

2016- I took a break from teaching to travel. Southeast Asia, New Zealand and India. I found a new passion in life.

2018- I began my work as a Curriculum and Instruction Manager and I'm excited to put my hands-on experiences to good use.

I found opportunities within my school district to work with curriculum. I was able to gather hands-on experience to bolster my confidence.
