Defining Moments
How I responded to discouragement
THE NOISE
Messages from Society in general:
Owning a business is hard. You should just go to grad school and become a therapist.
How I responded:
I did it anyway. I cried a lot, and doubted a lot, but I knew the amount of unhappiness I would experience if I chose to go to grad school and didn't pursue my dream.
Experiences and challenges that shaped me
I was living paycheck to paycheck and had to ask my parents for help more times then I'd like to admit. It's still a work in progress but getting better everyday.
