My path in life has been direct
1.
Worked in an infant cognition lab as an undergrad and confirmed I wanted to work with kids.
2.
Substitute taught a variety of grades and confirmed I wanted to work in the school system.
3.
Went to graduate school for school psychology and I worked in the public schools for several years.
4.
Started teaching college students as a side job, loved it, and made the transition to higher ed.
