I am lucky, no one tried to block my meandering path!
How I responded:
Trust your path - but define for yourself what you want. Create goals and define success for each goal. Break your goals down in measurable steps. Talk to people that you admire and listen to their journey. Enjoy the steps. I suggested getting a BFA/MFA or MA.. but I only did a year towards an MA. Every path is different.
