Defining Moments
How I responded to discouragement
THE NOISE
Messages from Myself:
I put pressure on myself to pick one thing to do with my life, despite the fact that I have a lot of interests that I'm passionate about.
How I responded:
I realized that you don't have to know what you want to do right away. I realized that it's ok to figure it out as you go along. I realized that you don't have to do just one thing with your life. I prayed about it, wandered for a while in the dark, then looked back years later and realized that I had been led exactly where I was called to go.
Experiences and challenges that shaped me
It was crippling for a very long time. Through a combination of therapy, reading and self help, I've managed to gain some control over it.
