My path in life has been direct
1.
While in college, he woke up one day and realized the left side of his body was paralyzed.
2.
Says this health crisis was life-changing; after his doctors were left perplexed, he turned to alternative medicine.
3.
Learned that he'd undergone a massive chemical exposure that had killed or disabled many others.
4.
Felt lucky to be alive; this changed his perspective on life in a profound way.
5.
While digging deeper into alternative treatments, he came across Hoxsey Therapy, an herbal cancer treatment.
6.
This became the subject of his first documentary, "Hoxsey: How Healing Becomes a Crime."
7.
After seeing the reaction to the documentary, Kenny and his wife started Bioneers, a nonprofit that brings scientists together to solve environmental issues.
8.
Started to get involved with botanical medicine; founded Seeds of Change to restore "backyard biodiversity" by selling organic, non-hybridized seeds.
