My path in life has been direct
1.
I grew up in Austin, Texas, but moved to Memphis, Tennessee, where I finished high school.
2.
After high school, I tried community college but realized it wasn’t for me, so I decided to give technical college a try instead.
3.
I earned my associate degree in wind turbine technology from Texas State Technical College in West Texas.
4.
I started my career in wind energy and traveled around working as a wind technician.
5.
As I gained experience, I slowly moved from wind energy into solar energy.
6.
I joined Enel Green Power and worked as a lead solar technician for two years before moving up to my current position as a solar site manager.

After high school, I tried community college but really struggled. I wasn't getting good grades and eventually realized it wasn't for me. I decided to try technical college instead, which was a much better fit.
